Question 1

What size inverter do I need?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the appliances you want to run at once. A 3kW inverter covers lights, TV, Wi-Fi and a fridge. 5kW handles most homes including a microwave. 8kW and above suits geysers, pool pumps and larger homes. Send us your bill and we'll size it for free.

Question 2

How long will a battery run my home?

Accepted Answer

A 5kWh lithium battery typically runs essential circuits for 4–6 hours. Doubling capacity roughly doubles runtime. We calculate runtime from your actual load list in every quote.

Question 3

Do you deliver nationwide?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We ship anywhere in South Africa via The Courier Guy, PUDO or Aramex — usually 1–4 working days. Collection from our Kimberley head office is free.

Question 4

What warranty do the products carry?

Accepted Answer

Inverters carry 2–5 year warranties, lithium batteries 5–10 years, and solar panels up to 25 years performance warranty. Warranty terms are listed on each product page.

Question 5

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Place your order and we email a proforma invoice with EFT banking details. We can also send a secure PayFast, Ozow or Yoco payment link. Goods are dispatched once payment reflects.

Question 6

Do you install, or supply only?

Accepted Answer

Both. We supply nationwide and install through certified teams in most major centres, including CoC sign-off where required.

Question 7

Can I add solar panels later?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that's why we recommend hybrid inverters. Start with a backup system and add panels when budget allows, without replacing the inverter.

Question 8

Will solar work during load shedding?

Accepted Answer

A grid-tied system without a battery shuts down during outages. Hybrid and off-grid systems with batteries keep running — that's what our backup kits are designed for.

Question 9

What is the payback period?

Accepted Answer

Most residential systems pay back in 4–7 years at current tariffs, faster for businesses with high daytime consumption.

Question 10

Can I return a product?

Accepted Answer

Unused, sealed items may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Return shipping is for the customer's account. Faulty items are covered by warranty.
